METHOD IN ISLAM
Indeed ways / methods of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in inviting people to Islam is a Kafir:
1. Inviting them to testify that no god of truth besides Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger / Messenger of God; Among the Ahadith that it is a hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim from Ibn 'Abbas radhiallahu' anhuma that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when Mu'az sent to Yemen, he said to him: "Behold, you come out of the People of the Book, then let the first one you do is invite them to testify that there is no god but God of truth". And of them again is another hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim from Sahl ibn Sa'd as-Saidi, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to' Ali radhiallahu 'anhu when he would give the war banner on the day of Khaybar: "Do it slowly until you go to the field to face them, then invite them to Islam and told them the right message from God that must be for them. In another narration: ".. then invite them to testify that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".

The legal scholars disagree about the shower for those Gentiles who converted to Islam (in some opinions-Proceeds):
(I) It is compulsory: this is the opinion of Imam Malik, Ahmad and Thawr-rahimahumullah-; based on the hadith narrated by Abu Dawud and an-Nasai of Qais bin 'Asim-radhiallahu' anhu, he said: "I have come to The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam to convert to Islam, then he ordered me to take a bath with water mixed with lote leaves ".
