From Abu Hafs Commander of the Faithful, 'Umar bin al-Khattab radi' anhu, who said: "I heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:" Any charity that depends on his intentions, and everyone just get the appropriate intentions. Whoever shall hijrahnya in Allah and His Messenger, then hijrahnya it to Allah and His Messenger. Any person who hijrahnya it because pleasure or because a woman who will married, then hijrahnya it to what its target. "
This hadeeth is saheeh hadeeth which has been agreed upon, the height of his status in it contains a lot of benefits. Imam Bukhari has reported it on several chapters in the book shahihnya, also Imam Muslim has narrated this hadith on the final chapter of Jihad.
This hadeeth is one of the important principal teachings of Islam. Imam Ahmad and Imam Shafi'i said: "hadith about this intention covers one third of the science." Similarly, says imam Baihaqi etc. That's because of human activity in the liver consisted of intentions, words and actions. While the intention is one of the three parts of it. It was narrated from Imam Shafi'i, "This hadith chapter covers seventy jurisprudence", a number of Ulama 'say this hadeeth includes a third Islamic teachings.
The scholars liked to start the essay-essay by quoting this hadith. Among those who started with this hadith in his book is Imam Bukhari. Abdurrahman ibn Mahdi said: "for every writer should start writing a book with this hadith, to remind his readers to straighten out his intention."
This hadith hadiths than the other is a very famous hadith, but viewed from the source isnaad, this hadith is ahad hadith, because only narrated by Umar bin Khaththab of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. From Umar narrated only by 'Alqamah bin Abi Waqash, then only narrated by Muhammad ibn Ibrahim At-Taimi, and then only narrated by Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari, and then became famous in the next transmitter. More than 200 people narrator who narrated from Yahya ibn Sa'id and most of them are the Imams.
First: The word "Innamaa" meaningful "only / exception", ie the set something called and denied other than those referred to it. The word "only" is sometimes meant as an absolute exception and sometimes intended as a limited exception. To distinguish between these two senses can be known from the structure of the sentence. For example, the sentence on the word of God: "Innamaa mundzirun anta" (Thou (Muhammad) is only a transmitter of a threat). (Surah Ar-Ra'd: 7) This in passing sentence stated that the task of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam only to convey the threat of God, have no other tasks. When in fact he has a lot of tasks, like delivering good news and so forth. So is the sentence on the word of God: "Innamal hayatud dunyaa la'ibun walahwun" à "Life world is just fun and games". (Surah Muhammad: 36) This sentence (wallahu a'lam) indicates limitations with regard to consequences or the impact, if associated with the nature of life world, then life can become a vehicle for doing good. Thus, when mentioned the word "only" in a sentence, should be considered true sense intended.
In this Hadith, the phrase "All charities just by intention" is a charity here is all the charities that shari'ah is justified, so that every charity without the intention of the shari'ah is justified does not mean anything according to the religion of Islam. About the word of Allah, "all the charities that depend on his intention" there are differences in opinion among scholars regarding the intent of the sentence. Some understand the intent as a requirement that a charity is not valid without intention, some other people to understand intention as a complement to charity it would be perfect if there is intention.
Second: The phrase "And everyone just get fit his intention" by Khathabi explained that this sentence shows a different understanding than before. That confirms the legitimacy of a charity depends on his intentions. Also Muhyidin Sheikh An-Nawawi explains that intention becomes legal conditions charity. So someone who had no intention of making up those prayers are not valid then the prayer, walahu a'lam
Third: The phrase "And He who emigrated to Allah and His Prophet, then hijrahnya in Allah and His Prophet" according to the determination of Arabic linguists, that the sentence requirements and responsibilities, as well as mubtada '(subjects) and Mr. Mouse (predicate) must be different , whereas in this same sentence. Because of that requirement meaningful sentence intentions or good intentions in the language or Shari'ah, meaning anyone who emigrated with the intention of Allah and His Prophet so will bring reward from Allah and the Prophet hijrahnya Him.
This hadith does emerge due to a man who took part migrated from Mecca to Medina to marry a woman named Umm Qais. He emigrated to earn merit not move so he called Muhajir Umm Qais. And Allaah knows best
